Commentary
Revelation 21:7-8 KJV
[7] He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.
[8] But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars,
shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone:
which is the second death.
God brought death on all men because of the disobedience of Adam and Eve.
God used a flood of water to destroy those who were disobedient to him and were evil continually.
God used a flood of fire to destroy Sodom and Gomorrah as an example to the ungodly.
God has prophesied that he shall destroy the whole earth with a flood of fire because of their disobedience to him.
