Jesus is God, the creator of all things.

God created man in the image of Jesus the man, not the image of God the Spirit.

John 4:24 KJV
[24] God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.

Jesus the Christ, God the man, created man in his own image.
What Jesus is, is what man should strive to imitate. Jesus said to come, follow me.

[34] And when he had called the people unto him with his disciples also, he said unto them, Whosoever will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me. [35] For whosoever will save his life shall lose it; but whosoever shall lose his life for my sake and the gospel's, the same shall save it. Jesus is the image in which man was made. Follow him.
