Commentary

If you were God, what else would you do to reveal yourself to your people.
God performed miracles that could only be performed by him.
Just to remind you of a few:
-- God was angry with all the people on earth who were evil continually, except for Noah.
-- God flooded the whole world saving only Noah and his family.
-- God was upset with the people trying to build a tower to heaven, and he confounded their language.
-- God called Abraham into a land of milk and honey, and he obeyed.
-- God brought a whole nation out from within another nation, bringing Israel out from Egypt.
-- God divided the Red Sea and allowed his people to walk over on dry land.
-- God told the prophets future events, and they have all come true as prophesied.
-- God himself came to earth manifest in the flesh, called Emmanuel, meaning God with us.
-- During his ministry, Jesus made the blind to receive sight, the lame to walk, the lepers were cleansed, the deaf made to hear, the dead were resurrected, and the poor in spirit had the gospel preached to them.
-- Jesus died on a cross to pay for your sins and the sins of the whole world.
-- Jesus resurrected himself after three days and appeared to many, even five hundred at one time.
-- Jesus ascended to heaven in a cloud of angels with the Apostles watching.
-- Jesus prophesied to his Apostles that he would come again in the same way they saw him go.

If you were God, what else would you do to get people to believe you were really who you said you were.
