Commentary

God is merciful and loving.

God also knows when a man has chosen to reject him.

Before the flood God told Noah that he repented he made man because the thoughts of man were evil continually.

God will give a man what that man desires.

Even when it makes God sorrowful, he will give a man what that man has chosen.

Choose to forgive just as God will forgive you.

Hebrews 2:17 KJV
[17] Wherefore in all things it behoved him to be made like unto his brethren, that he might be a merciful and faithful high priest in things pertaining to God, to make reconciliation for the sins of the people.

Repent of sin and show it by your actions, deeds, and works.

1 John 1:5-10 KJV
[5] This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all. [6] If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, (Then) we lie, and do not the truth: [7] But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, (Then) we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin. [8] If we say that we have no sin, (Then) we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. [9] If we confess our sins, (Then) he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. [10] If we say that we have not sinned, (Then) we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.

Jude 1:21 KJV
[21] Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.
