-- Deception: Jesus told the Apostles to not be deceived. Deception comes from believing everything that you are told and not studying of the scriptures for yourself to confirm or reject a teaching you have been taught --- Matthew 24:4-5
-- False teachers, many false teachers teach parts of the gospel message, but also are breaking the commandments by insisting on meeting on Sunday, which is not a commandment of God. They know that James 2:10-11 says that breaking one commandment is as if you broke them all --- James 2:10-11
-- Keep the commandments, all ten. If someone tries to tell you it is not possible to keep all ten commandments, have them explain that to your spouse, or to the judge that is about to pronounce judgment against you in your murder trial --- Exodus 20:3-17; Deuteronomy 5:6-21
-- Know the truth: in order to know the false doctrines you need to know the truth. Knowing the truth comes from studying the Bible for yourself and not believing everything some teacher has told you --- Acts 17:11
-- Rightly dividing the word of truth: correctly interpreting the word of God, knowing and understanding the truth so as not to be deceived by those teaching false doctrines --- 2 Timothy 2:15
-- Some teachers are cast out angels and have transformed themselves into apostles of Christ and are teaching the gospel from a pulpit in order to deceive their listeners --- 2 Corinthians 11:13-15
--- Jesus told the Rich Young Ruler that even lacking just one the Ten Commandments is enough for a person to not inherit eternal life --- Matthew 19:17-22; Mark 10:19-22; Luke 18:18-23

The Application is that you need to keep all Ten of the Ten Commandments, and that includes the fourth commandment of the Ten Commandments, to keep the Seventh Day, Saturday, as the Sabbath of the Lord.

Jesus told the Rich Young Ruler to not lack one of the Ten Commandments, and the Rich Young Ruler walked away because he coveted his riches in the here and now, more than to inherit eternal life later.

Matthew 19:17-22 KJV
[17] And he said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments. [18] He saith unto him, Which? Jesus said, Thou shalt do no murder, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, [19] Honour thy father and thy mother: and, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. [20] The young man saith unto him, All these things have I kept from my youth up: what lack I yet? [21] Jesus said unto him, If thou wilt be perfect, go and sell that thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come and follow me. [22] But when the young man heard that saying, he went away sorrowful: for he had great possessions.

The Rich Young Ruler lacked the Tenth Commandment to not covet. He exchanged inheriting eternal life in the future, for the great possessions he had then.
