Commentary
Moral of the events of 1 Kings 13:1-34:
Do not be deceived by any man that tells you something in direct opposition to what God says.
No man can change a commandment, a law, of God.
The lion that killed the Man of God is a reminder that Jesus is the lion of the tribe of Judah.
Jesus is the Lion of the tribe of Judah --- Revelation 5:5
Jesus is also the Judge at the great white throne judgment --- Revelation 20:11
Application to the Seventh Day Sabbath, Saturday:
People today are being told to contradict the commandment of God, the Seventh Day Sabbath, and keep Sunday, as the sabbath day.
This is a denial of what God has said, and is a false commandment of man, a tradition, contradicting the creation account and the commandment of God.
Saturday, the Seventh Day of the week, is the sabbath day of the Lord. God's day for rest.
Do not let any man lead you into sin by disobeying God by not keeping and remembering the day he created and commanded to be kept and remembered.
Sin is the transgression of the commandment of God --- 1 John 3:4

Genesis 2:1-3; Creation of the seventh day sabbath
Exodus 20:8-11; Deuteronomy 5:12-15; Commandment to keep and remember the Seventh Day Sabbath
