THE HOLY BIBLE SAYS:

There many things a person should do to grow in the Lord.

John 14:26 KJV
[26] But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

To grow in the Lord, do the work for salvation which are things that the Bible says you should do to endure, grow, learn, overcome, study, and walk in the way of Jesus.

There are deceitful workers that look like they are apostles of Christ but are not. Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. His ministers also transform themselves into ministers of righteousness but are deceitful workers. These false teachers will turn people away from the truth.

2 Corinthians 11:13-15 KJV
[13] For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ. [14] And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. [15] Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.

Paul tells Timothy to study. Get to know truth so false teachers cannot lead you astray with false information.

2 Timothy 2:15 KJV
[15] Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

Paul tells Timothy, that there will come a time when people will not endure sound teaching. People will find themselves teachers who will only teach what people want to hear, instead of truth.

2 Timothy 4:3-4 KJV
[3] For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; [4] And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.

Grow and learn truth to keep from being lead astray by the errors of the wicked.

2 Peter 3:17-18 KJV
[17] Ye therefore, beloved, seeing ye know these things before, beware lest ye also, being led away with the error of the wicked, fall from your own stedfastness. [18] But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and for ever. Amen.

Keep your eyes focused on the day when Jesus will return with all of his angels in heaven. Every eye will see him, and there will be a great noise, with all the angels shouting and the trumpets sounding. All people will know the great day of the Lord has arrived.

Revelation 1:7 KJV
[7] Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen.
