Commentary

THE HOLY BIBLE SAYS:

Jesus came to call sinners to repentance.

Luke 5:32 KJV
[32] I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.

But all have sinned, therefore Jesus has come to call all to repent.

Romans 3:23 KJV
[23] For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;

There is joy in heaven over each sinner that repents and turns to follow Jesus.

There is no rejoicing in heaven over the ninety and nine just persons which need no repentance. They don't exist.

Luke 15:7 KJV
[7] I say unto you, that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repenteth, more than over ninety and nine just persons, which need no repentance.

Because all have sinned, the preaching of repentance and remission of sins needs to be preached in the name of Jesus among all nations.

Luke 24:47 KJV
[47] And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.
