Commentary
Paul said, I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith.
2 Timothy 4:7 KJV
[7] I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith:
From what he said, we can assume that it is possible for a person to not fight a good fight, to not finish the course, to not keep the faith.
The HOLY BIBLE SAYS that it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have fallen away, to renew them again.

It is the Spirit dwelling within a person that will raise him to life on the last day. If the Spirit is not dwelling within him, then he will not see life.
Romans 8:11 KJV
[11] But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.
John 3:36 KJV
[36] He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.
