Baptisms, water, Holy Spirit, and death
The repentance program is the Holy Spirit using a person's conscience to cleanup or sanctify them.
The Bible says that the conscience can be used by the Holy Spirit to convict a person.
A person needs to listen to their conscience, stop sinning, repent to God, and do right.
John 8:9 KJV
[9] And they which heard it, being convicted by their own conscience, went out one by one, beginning at the eldest, even unto the last: and Jesus was left alone, and the woman standing in the midst.

Scriptures:
Exodus 20:14 KJV
[14] Thou shalt not commit adultery.
Exodus 31:18 KJV
[18] And he gave unto Moses, when he had made an end of communing with him upon mount Sinai, two tables of testimony, tables of stone, written with the finger of God.
Daniel 9:24 KJV
[24] Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy.
Matthew 18:21-22 KJV
[21] Then came Peter to him, and said, Lord, how oft shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? till seven times? [22] Jesus saith unto him, I say not unto thee, Until seven times: but, Until seventy times seven.
John 8:1-11 KJV
[1] Jesus went unto the mount of Olives. [2] And early in the morning he came again into the temple, and all the people came unto him; and he sat down, and taught them. [3] And the scribes and Pharisees brought unto him a woman taken in adultery; and when they had set her in the midst, [4] They say unto him, Master, this woman was taken in adultery, in the very act. [5] Now Moses in the law commanded us, that such should be stoned: but what sayest thou? [6] This they said, tempting him, that they might have to accuse him. But Jesus stooped down, and with his finger wrote on the ground, as though he heard them not. [7] So when they continued asking him, he lifted up himself, and said unto them, He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her. [8] And again he stooped down, and wrote on the ground. [9] And they which heard it, being convicted by their own conscience, went out one by one, beginning at the eldest, even unto the last: and Jesus was left alone, and the woman standing in the midst. [10] When Jesus had lifted up himself, and saw none but the woman, he said unto her, Woman, where are those thine accusers? hath no man condemned thee? [11] She said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more.
Commentary
The Holy Bible Says
The Holy Spirit uses the conscience to clean, sanctify, and sanitize one of his own.
After a person has made the decision to follow Jesus, the Holy Spirit will use their conscience to convict them when they are disobeying God.
After they have repented to God several times for the same sin, their conscience convicts them of their sin beforehand.
This leads to a change in a person's behavior that goes along with living in newness of life.
A person is changed by their own conscience with the Holy Spirit helping the person to cleanup or sanctify their lives.
The person is born physically when the water breaks, and is born spirutually when the Holy Spirit breaks the physical ties to all the things that are in the world and the love of the world.
1 John 2:15 KJV
[15] Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, (Then) the love of the Father is not in him.
New versions have removed the term conscience from John 8:9.
The new versions have removed the cleanup program that the Holy Spirit uses.
John 8:9 KJV
[9] And they which heard it, being convicted by their own conscience, went out one by one, beginning at the eldest, even unto the last: and Jesus was left alone, and the woman standing in the midst.
The objective of the Holy Spirit using the conscience is to get a person to "go and sin no more."
John 8:11 KJV
