Points:
To inherit eternal life, keep the commandments:
Christians keep the commandments, all ten, and lack not one.
Matthew 19:16-17 KJV
[16] And, behold, one came and said unto him, Good Master, what good thing shall I do, that I may have eternal life? [17] And he said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments.
If a person says they are a Christian, but does not keep the commandments, do not even eat with them.
1 Corinthians 5:11 KJV
[11] But now I have written unto you not to keep company, if any man that is called a brother be a fornicator, or covetous, or an idolater, or a railer, or a drunkard, or an extortioner; with such an one no not to eat.
If a person says they are a Christian, but does not keep the commandments, they are liars, and the truth is not in them.
1 John 2:3-5 KJV
[3] And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments. [4] He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. [5] But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him.
