This is not an exhaustive list, but is a glimpse of the changes Jesus brought with his first coming.

When he comes the second time, he will bring catastrophic collapse to life on earth. The fire that he brings with him will hardly be needed because the fire will already be kindled --- Luke 12:49

It will be like the vengeance of eternal fire God used against Sodom and Gomorrah as an example to the ungodly --- Deuteronomy 29:23; Luke 17:29-30; 2 Peter 2:6; Jude 1:7

He will be coming to destroy those that have destroyed the earth. The destroyers of the earth who are destroying the earth by using their control over weather to wage war against unsuspecting populations that don't even know they are being attacked --- Revelation 11:18

Only those who are followers of Jesus will be caught up to meet him in the air --- Matthew 7:21-23; Matthew 19:16-22; 1 Thessalonians 4:16-18
