Prophecy, day of the Lord, Lord's day, End of the world, Last day
All fallen, cast out, angels are cast into the lake of fire.
The first people taken are the unbelievers and ungodly.
These first people are cast into the lake of fire.
Those sleeping in Christ are raised to life and given new bodies.
Those alive in Christ are changed into new bodies.
All are caught up to meet the Lord in the air and return to heaven with Jesus.
The earth is left void.

Matthew 13:40-42 KJV
[40] As therefore the tares are gathered and burned in the fire; so shall it be in the end of this world. [41] The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity; [42] And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.
Matthew 13:49-50 KJV
[49] So shall it be at the end of the world: the angels shall come forth, and sever the wicked from among the just, [50] And shall cast them into the furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.
Matthew 24:37-39 KJV
[37] But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. [38] For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, [39] And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. [40] Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left. [41] Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left.
Matthew 25:41 KJV
[41] Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:
Luke 17:26-27 KJV
[26] And as it was in the days of Noe, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man. [27] They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all.
Luke 17:28-29 KJV
[28] Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded; [29] But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all.
Luke 17:34-37 KJV
[34] I tell you, in that night there shall be two men in one bed; the one shall be taken, and the other shall be left. [35] Two women shall be grinding together; the one shall be taken, and the other left. [36] Two men shall be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left. [37] And they answered and said unto him, Where, Lord? And he said unto them, Wheresoever the body is, thither will the eagles be gathered together.
John 15:6 KJV
[6] If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned.
2 Thessalonians 2:8-12 KJV
[8] And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming: [9] Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, [10] And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. [11] And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: [12] That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.
2 Peter 2:9 KJV
[9] The Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptations, and to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished:
Commentary
The rapture teaching says that the first ones taken are taken up to heaven, but the Bible teaches that the first one taken are cast into the lake of fire.
There is no rapture of the church before the last day, the day of the Lord, the day of the end of the world.
Jesus had a first coming when he came as a baby, lived a perfect life, taught the message of salvation, did miracles that only God could do, died on a cross to pay the penalty for the sins of man, and resurrected himself from the grave.
Jesus has a second coming when he returns to earth as lightning flashing from the east to the west, with loud shouting, trumpets sounding, and ever eye shall see him.
Those in Christ, dead and alive, are changed into their new bodies and ascend to meet the Lord in the air, and so shall they ever be with the Lord.
Jesus will gather all of his followers to lead them back to heaven where he has prepared a place for them.
When Jesus leaves the earth behind, everything is destroyed that remains on earth, including those that have rejected him, never sought him, or turned back from him.
The flow of traffic on the last day is from the cursed earth to the glory of heaven.
All of the followers of Jesus enter heaven at the same time on the last day of the first earth.
After this, God creates a new heaven and new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth are passed away.
Revelation 21:1-8 KJV
[1] And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea. [2] And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. [3] And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God. [4] And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. [5] And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful. [6] And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely. [7] (IF) He that overcometh (Then) shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son. [8] But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.
